Dumbfounded

I was dumbfounded - literally speechless with shock - about Palin's nomination, so I have gratefully read and reprinted the words of Gloria Steinem and Judith Warner. I find Palin appalling on a visceral level. It makes it even worse that so many people find her appealing. If McCain/Palin win, I'll cancel my cable subscription to the BBC and CNN and wait it out here in Brazil for the next 4 to 8 years (fortunately for Brazil's prescient energy policies, our economy is doing very well, thank you).
